OC officials urge beach goers not to go into the water until Saturday

Although you may be heading down to Ocean City Friday to get a kick-start on Memorial Day Weekend town officials say you should wait one more day before you get in the water.
The Ocean City Beach Patrol will go back on guard Saturday at 10 a.m. meaning Friday there will be no lifeguards on the beach.
Town officials urge beach goers not to swim when there are no guards present.
"We urge people that are on the beach this weekend to keep your feet in the sand until the lifeguards in the stand and that will be Saturday morning at 10 am," said Jessica Waters, communications manager for the town.
Following Saturday, lifeguards will be in their chairs daily from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
