North Caroline Softball Advances To State Title; Tops Eastern Tech 3-2

The North Caroline Bulldogs Softball team fought back to defeat Eastern Tech 3-2 in the Class 2A State semi-final's, advancing to the state title game later this week.

Bree Bishop had a strong outing on the mound for North Caroline while Ali Ward and Megan Robbins accounted for all three of the Bulldogs runs.

Ward got the scoring started in the bottom of the third scoring off an RBI single by Robbins into shallow left field.

Robbins then tied the game at 2-2 in the bottom half of the 5th inning with a solo home run into center field.

Then to cap things off, Robbins was able to drive in Ward for the game winning run in the bottom half of the 7th securing the 3-2 victory. 

North Caroline will face South Carroll later this week for the Class 2A State title.
