Man sliced with box cutter in Dover attempted robbery

Delaware State Police are searching for a suspect who sliced a man's arm with a box cutter Monday evening in Dover during an attempted robbery, officials said.
At around 9 PM, police say a 33-year-old man was walking through the Rodney Village shopping plaza in the 1600 block of South Governors Avenue when a man approached him and demanded money.
The victim reportedly told the man he did not have any, and the suspect responded by slicing the victim's forearm with a box cutter, police said. The suspect fled and the victim was later treated at Kent General Hospital for his injuries.
Police describe the suspect as a black male standing between 5'7" and 5'9" and weighing around 170 or 180 pounds. He was wearing a dark hoodie, black pants and a black cover over his head.
