Helicopter crashes in New Castle industrial park

(AP/WMDT) – A helicopter has crashed into a building in a Delaware industrial park and burst into flames.
It was not immediately clear what caused the crash. ABC sister station WPVI is reporting that the helicopter was a PennSTAR medical helicopter registered to the University of Pennsylvania.
One person died in the crash, WPVI reports.
A man who answered the phone at the Wilmington Manor Fire Company says emergency crews were called to the Airport Industrial Park in New Castle shortly before noon Thursday. The location is close to the Wilmington airport.
WPVI reports that the helicopter was flying to the airport when it went down. The station reported that the helicopter was not on a life-saving operation at the time and that only the pilot was on board.
