Four adults and one juvenile arrested following Dover drug investigation

Dover Police say five suspects were arrested Monday afternoon on drug and firearms charges following a drug investigation.

Police say officers stopped a vehicle Monday as it was leaving a residence that was under investigation, the officers reportedly finding nearly half a pound of marijuana in the vehicle.

Police then obtained a search warrant for a home in the 1400 block of Woodmill Drive. According to police, officers found 525.4 grams of marijuana, 648.9 grams of marijuana hashish, two handguns and $1,506 in suspected drug proceeds.

Four Dover adults and one juvenile were arrested.

Jaquell McDonald, 20, faces two charges of possession of a firearm by a person prohibited, possession of a firearm while in possession of drugs, possession with intent to deliver marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He has been committed to the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on a cash bond of $150,000.

Davonte Dynum, 19, is also charged with possession of a firearm while in possession of drugs along with several other drug charges. He received a $30,000 unsecured  bond.

Justin Smith, 26, is charged with possession of marijuana and possession with intent to deliver marijuana with an aggravating factor. He also violated his probation, officials said. He has been committed to the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on a $30,000 cash bond.

Kyaire King, 20, is charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and various traffic offenses. He was given a $1,000 unsecured bond, officials said.

Police report one juvenile was also charged with possession of firearms while in possession of drugs, possession with intent to deliver marijuana, second degree conspiracy and endangering the welfare of a child.
