Fire marshals investigating Cambridge playground arson
The Maryland Office of the State Fire Marshal has declared a fire at a Cambridge playground an arson.
Shortly after 11:10 PM, firefighters from the Cambridge Rescue Fire Company responded to the Cosby Avenue Park for reports of playground equipment on fire. It took six firefighters approximately two minutes to control the blaze, officials said.
Fire marshals have determined the fire to be an arson and say damages are estimated at $5,000.
