Delaware’s Department of Health and Social Services relaunch ‘Help is Here’ website

Delaware's Department of Health and Social Services launched an updated and improved version of their addiction prevention website.

HelpIsHereDE.com is an online resource for addiction prevention, intervention, treatment and recovery.

They launched the website over 2 years ago and saw over 300,000 hits.

Through that, they received feedback and created improvements.

We are told it is more easily accessible, especially for those using mobile devices.

The update also has the crisis number located front and center on the home page.

A key focus of the site is providing additional resources for prescribers.

Director of Division of Public Health, Dr. Karyl Rattay tells 47 ABC they hope to get the website to as many people as possible.

Dr. Rattay says, "Especially, for friends and families and individuals struggling with addiction we hope that they can come to this website multiple times to find the resources that they need to support them wherever they are in their journey."
