Chicken truck overturns in Fruitland

Officials say that half of a load of a chicken truck was destroyed in a crash that happened in Fruitland on Monday morning.

Authorities say around 7 a.m., they responded to Saint Luke's road for an overturned chicken truck. The driver of the truck suffered minor injuries.

Officials spent hours clearing the scene and the ramp was briefly closed. Speed was a factor.
