A Delaware rescue society creates unique event to help find dogs a home

A rescue society in Rehoboth Beach hosted a unique event in order to get several dogs adopted.

The event name Wags, Whiskers and Wine was hosted by Grass Roots Rescue along with The Cultured Pearl, who ordered specialty wines and liquors that were dog-themed.

Grass Roots Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing dogs and cats in order to find them homes and with this event, it was just another way to get their rescue efforts noticed.

Two dogs in specific named Oslo and Ivar were born with a major defect that caused them to army crawl.

They recently had surgery on their elbows.

These two brought out quite the crowd as the public anticipated their recovery.
