UPDATE :Jersey Mike’s subs support local charities, organizations raises over $18,000

According to officials, all three local Jersey Mike's locations that participated in a Day of Giving raised more than $18,000.
The Salisbury, Rehoboth Beach and Dover locations raised $18,707 alone for Autism Delaware.
In a press release, CEO and founder Peter Cancro says,"I would like to thank our extraordinary customers, franchise owners, team members and charity partners who helped us raise the most ever during Jersey Mike's 7th Annual Month of Giving in March."

If you visited a Jersey Mike's sub shop on Wednesday, you were likely greeted with balloons and signs across the store.
Across the nation, the New Jersey based sandwich chain participated in a Day Of Giving with 100 percent of their sales Wednesday benefiting local charities and organizations.
Jersey Mike's Salisbury, Rehoboth Beach, and Dover locations will be donating their proceeds to Autism Delaware. The organization's mission to assist families and people with autism.
47ABC stopped by the Salisbury location on Monday morning.
Within an hour of opening, General Manager Andrew Jobes says there were several people already in line for their subs.
"Usually between 10 and 11, people aren't coming in getting subs," says Jobes. "It's usually like a lunchtime or a dinnertime kind of thing. Today [Wednesday] at 10, I walk in and there's line, so this is great."
Jersey Mike's "Day of Giving" is part of its March "Month of Giving" fundraising campaign. We're told last year, the initiative raised more than 4 million dollars for local charities nationwide.
