Two teens charged with attempted murder in Smyrna

Police in Smyrna say two teenagers have been arrested and charged with attempted murder following a weekend shooting in a restaurant parking lot.
At around 4 PM on Saturday, Smyrna Police responded to the parking lot of Trevi Restaurant on East Greenwood Avenue where they found a 19-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper torso, officials said.
Police say they learned through their investigation that two 15-year-old boys reportedly shot the man following a dispute over property.
On Tuesday one suspect turned himself in to police and the other was arrested without incident, police said. Both boys are charged with attempted first degree murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and first degree conspiracy.
Officials say the shooting victim was transported to Kent General Hospital and later released.
