Three arrested on attempted robbery charges in Georgetown

Georgetown Police say they arrested three people on Wednesday night after they reportedly tried to commit a robbery.
At around 10:30 PM, officers responded to a report of a fight in progress in the 100 block of South Race Street, police said. Upon arrival, officers made contact with a victim who told police that three people had knocked on their door, then demanded money once the victim opened the door. The three suspects then reportedly assaulted the victim.
Officers arrested the three suspects, who had reportedly stayed on scene in the victim's home.
George Hallett, 42, and Lorichia Camper, 27, both of Georgetown, along with 25-year-old Enoch Williams of Seaford, were each charged with first degree attempted robbery, second degree conspiracy and third degree assault.
Hallett, Camper and Williams were all committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on $12,500 secured bonds, officials said.
