Second arrest made in connection to Princess Anne Trump billboard fire

The Maryland Office of the State Fire Marshal says a second suspect has been arrested in connection to the burning of a Trump campaign billboard in Princess Anne.
Officials say 19-year-old Joy M. Shuford of Owings Mills turned herself in to the Princess Anne Police Department on Saturday. She is charged with second degree arson, four counts of second degree malicious burning, six counts of second degree malicious destruction of property, trespassing, obstruction and hindering and the commission of a hate crime. Shuford was released on a $20,000 unsecured bond, officials said.
The billboard fire happened on Friday in the 12000 block of Carole Lane. Fire marshals say the fire spread from the billboard and burned vegetation in the area surrounding the sign before firefighters from the Princess Anne Fire Department arrived to control the blaze. Damages are estimated at $800, officials said.
One other suspect was already arrested in connection to the fire; D'Asia Perry, 19, of Baltimore, faces the same charges as Shuford and was similarly released on a $20,000 bond.
