Salisbury’s 1st Annual Bike Party kicks off on Earth Day

Despite the drizzling conditions on Earth Day, people gathered in Salisbury for its 1st Annual Bike Party.

The city of Salisbury and Evolution Craft Brewing Company teamed up in order to create this 6-mile fun ride.

It was all in effort to get people active and outside for Earth Day.

The course went around the town and it also had a three quarter mile loop that circled Downtown.

The event invited all ages to ride out and one business even donated bikes to give riders the opportunity to enjoy the day.

The Wheelhouse: A Bicycle Donation Hub's was their non-profit beneficiary, as they loaned out bikes for anyone for the entire day.

If anyone has any unwanted bikes or unwanted bike parts, they can bring them to The Wheelhouse to donate as well.>
