Locals react to Trump’s first 100 days in office

When it comes to evaluating the 45th President of the United States, folks across the country and on Delmarva have varying opinions.
One woman tells 47 ABC, "I was really skeptical in the very beginning mostly because of his demeanor and I really hoped that that would soften and I think it has softened some. I think that he has done some good things and I hope he keeps it up. It's kind of scary some days but seeing good things so far and he's cutting it back a little bit and acting more presidential."
President Donald Trump's 100th day in office comes Saturday and for a century, this has been the first major benchmark.
White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer said in a press conference Monday, "I think we feel very proud of what we've been able to accomplish and fulfill the promises that he made to the American people."
Spicer continues saying, "Some of it has been has a little slower, but mostly because of working through Congress and getting things done. But when you think about what he's started, he'll move forward on tax reform, health care, on immigration, on trade, it's been a huge, hugely successful first hundred days."
Here on the shore there are many that agree, President Trump is fulfilling promises, and getting work done.
"Trump's first 100 days in office is pretty good you know what I mean, you can't expect a whole lot from him because he's just getting in there but he's doing a pretty good job so for because he has the experience of a businessman and politics is nothing but big business."
But others aren't on the same page.
"He's finding out that it's harder to run a country then his own company. I don't think he's done a good job at all I think he's golfed more than he's actually been president. I think that, you know, now that Trump is president people are more divided than ever," says one local man.
Meanwhile, President Trump's week is packed with events focused on highlighting the accomplishments of his first 100 days, despite critics saying he hasn't delivered on some of his key campaign promises.
