Families enjoy 14th Annual Pork in the Park

In Salisbury this weekend, families got a chance to enjoy a staple festival for Wicomico County, Pork in the Park.

Local families packed Winterplace Park Sunday enjoying fun-filled activities for the 14th annual county run festival.

It's a weekend filled with live bands, bouncy houses, and lots of pork. One of the organizers tells 47 ABC the festival is geared towards kids activities and food with proceeds going to help local kids.

"It's a great family festival. We really try and go in the direction of having a lot of things for the kids to do especially on Sundays you come out and have the inflatables, laser tag, all these ice cream vendors," Allen Swiger adds, "We have a scholarship fund we try and get around $5,000 so all these kids that won't be able to afford our programs throughout the year we use that money to help them out."
