DSP investigating Long Neck Walgreens armed robbery

Delaware State Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened Sunday night at the Long Neck Walgreens.

Police say a man armed with a handgun entered the store at 26191 John J. Williams Highway shortly after 9 PM and demanded cash from an employee. The employee gave the suspect money and the suspect fled the scene, officials said.

According to police, the suspect is described as a white male standing between 5' 6" and 5' 10" tall. He was wearing dark clothing with his face covered, police said.
