Dagsboro man found guilty for Eden garden center burglary

The Wicomico County State's Attorney's Office says a Dagsboro, Del. man was found guilty Thursday morning on charges stemming from a November 2015 burglary in Eden.
Walter Allen Bunting, 36, was found guilty of second degree burglary, fourth degree burglary-storehouse, fourth degree burglary-theft, malicious destruction of property under $1,000 and theft between $1,000 and $10,000.
On November 24, 2015, the owner of How Sweet It Is, a produce and garden center, found that more than $5,000 worth of plants and landscaping materials were stolen from his storehouse. Video surveillance reportedly showed a man cut the lock to the property at around 4:30 AM that morning. The video showed the man driving a pickup truck with a trailer onto the property, then driving away 20 minutes later.
Several days later, officials say the business owner saw the vehicle from the video in Somerset County and alerted authorities. Bunting was arrested shortly after.
Bunting is scheduled to be sentenced on April 19th, the state's attorney's office said.
