Wicomico firefighters’ meeting expected to draw many attendees

The Wicomico County Volunteer Firefighters Association plans to meet Tuesday night.
This is the first meeting since volunteers of the Salisbury Fire Department at Station One announced they're leaving the city and want the County portion they once served.
While fire officials 47ABC spoke to over the phone could not comment on the dialogue that is expected, they say many local politicians will be present at the meeting.
We're told the President of the Maryland State Firemen's Association is expected to attend.
According to fire officials, Tuesday's meeting may be the largest attended meeting since 2003.
The meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. at Station 16 on Cypress Street.
The next meeting for the Fire Chiefs Association is scheduled for Wednesday.
