Sussex County suspect meets with attorneys before child abuse murder trial

A man facing charges of first degree murder by abuse in connection with the death of his eight month old son was in Sussex County court on Tuesday morning.
According to Delaware Department of Justice officials, Doyle Hundley met with his attorneys, although nothing was decided.
Hundley and the child's mother, Casey Layton, were arrested after the infant died after suffering multiple broken bones and a serious head injury.
Hundley allegedly told medics his son was suffering from a seizure and was barely responsive.
The boy's death was ruled a homicide due to blunt force trauma to the head.
Hundley will be tried on September 18.
