Salisbury Festival returns revamped and rebranded

The Salisbury Festival is returning this June revamped and rebranded as the Downtown Salisbury Festival according to Mayor Jake Day.
The mayor made this announcement Friday morning, stating that the new festival is set to take place from June 2nd through the 4th.
Organizers say the new festival will feature rides, games and an emphasis on local arts and artists. Information for sponsors, artists and volunteers who wish to get involved can be found on the festival's website.
The previous incarnation of the Salisbury Festival was canceled in 2015 when the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce chose not to continue the event after 32 years.
