Pocomoke firefighters mourns loss of member

Members of the Pocomoke City Volunteer Fire Company are mourning the loss of one of their members, sources tell 47ABC.

In a Facebook post on Saturday, the volunteer fire company posted a somber tribute to Jacob Howser.

We're told Howser, a firefighter and EMT with the company, died Saturday morning as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle crash.

The post reads "Jacob's passing represents the loss of a dedicated volunteer and public safety servant for not only our town but southern Worcester County. Our dear brother; you will be missed!!!".

This is a developing story. We will keep you updated with any new information authorities confirm with 47ABC.
