Mathias championing for Lower Shore projects

Senator Mathias is supporting several projects across the lower shore including the final expansion phase of the Ocean City Convention Center.

Ocean City Mayor Rick Meehan also testified before a Senate committee about the importance of the project.

The main goal of the 30,000 expansion is to provide the infrastructure necessary to create new jobs.

The project would also boost tax revenues and provide vital state service. Additional bills sponsored by Mathias include funding for the Believe in Tomorrow Cottage in Ocean City and funding for the Teackle Mansion in Princess Anne.
