Dover City Manager set to retire this week

Dover City Manager Scott Koenig announced Monday night at the Dover City Council meeting that he is retiring.

Koenig has been with the City of Dover for 27 years, serving in several different capacities during that time. He says his final day in office will be Friday. Koenig says he has enjoyed his career with the city and that Dover has been good to him, and that he hopes he has served the city well.

The Dover City Council reportedly named Donna Mitchell to become acting city manager.
