Seahawks spoil Kent County’s upset bid

The Stephen Decatur Seahawks boys basketball team survived yet another tough test on the road on Thursday night, defeating Kent County 85-82 in Worton.
Keve Aluma led the Seahawks at a game-high 30 points, dominating the post from the first half (18 points) to the final frame. Gary Briddell also chipped in with 24 points for Decatur, while backcourt-mate Ja'Ron Johnson finished with 14.
For Kent, Manny Camper finished with a team-high 28 points, while She'Mar Turner and freshman JayShaun Freeman finished with 20 and 14, respectively. The teams will meet again on Febuary 21st in the Bayside Championship game at Cambridge-South Dorchester High School.
