National Parks offering free entry on Presidents Day

Assateague Island National Seashore is one of many U.S. national parks participating in a fee free Presidents Day.

According to the National Park Service website, no fee will be collected at the Maryland or Virginia entrances to the park.

February 20th is one of 10 days in 2017 that National Park Service sites will offer free admission, with the next free days being the weekends of April 15-16 and April 22-23.
