Valentine's Day is all about telling those you care about how special they are and that's exactly what the Crisfield Police Department did on this special day for some pretty special guests.
Dozens of red carnations made their way to the Alice B. Tawes Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Crisfield Tuesday.
A handful of Crisfield's finest were there to hand deliver this beautiful bouquets to over 70 seniors living there.
Police Chief Michael Tabor says its a way to show these special residents what they mean to the town the of Crisfield.
"It's just a way for the Crisfield Police Department to show our seniors that we care for them and we love them and it's just something to give back to the community for all the things they've done for us," explains Chief Tabor.
He says its something they've been doing for the past five years.
One woman said it was the best part of her day getting those flowers.
