Easton Police searching for Wawa robbery suspect

The Easton Police Department reports that they responded to a robbery at the Wawa at 8118 Ocean Gateway at around 4 AM Wednesday.
Police say the suspect reportedly entered the store wearing a black hoodie with the hood pulled tight around his face, walked around the store for several minutes, then bought a pack of cigarettes at the counter.
After buying the cigarettes, the suspect reportedly demanded the clerk open the register and give him cash. Police say the suspect had his hand under his sweatshirt as if to imply he had a gun.
The suspect then reportedly fled the store on foot. A witness claims the suspect removed his hoodie as he fled, revealing he had a reddish-brown pointed beard.
Police say no one was hurt and that no weapon was directly observed.
As police search for the suspect, they are asking for the public's help locating the man.
He is described as a white male with a thin build, reddish-brown facial hair and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt that may have had an Under Armour logo on the front.
Anyone with information on this suspect's identity or location is asked to contact Detective Shayne McKinney of the Easton Police Department at 410-822-1111 or smckinney@eastonmd.gov.
