DSP: Teen arrested for burglarizing Selbyville home to steal guns

Delaware State Police say they have taken a 15-year-old boy into custody in connection to a November residential burglary in Selbyville where shots were fired at the homeowner.
The minor was arrested on February 9th by Delaware State Police Burglary Unit Detectives.
Police say on November 27th, the minor burglarized a residence in the 32,000 block of Sanbru Lane, taking several guns from the home and using one gun to fire two shots at the homeowner when he confronted the teen.
The homeowner was not injured and the minor fled in an unknown direction.
Police say investigative measures and numerous interviews led them to identify the 15-year-old as the perpetrator.
The minor is charged with first degree burglary, first degree reckless endangering, four counts of firearm theft, four counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, wearing a disguise during the commission of a felony, felony theft and criminal mischief.
He has been committed to the Stevenson House Detention Center on $12,500 secured bond.
