Del. NAACP speaks out on prison standoff aftermath

Friday, the president of the Delaware chapter of the NAACP, Linwood Jackson, released a statement expressing his hopes to work with the Department of Corrections to find a resolution.
In the statement he mentions speaking briefly to the warden at the James T. Vaughn correctional center. Jackson says he has expressed his interest in partnership with the DOC and the NAACP's prison branch program to resolve current issues.
The program is designed to address disparities in the criminal justice system.
