13-year-old boy assaulted and robbed outside Dover Dollar Tree

Dover Police say a 13-year-old boy was robbed and assaulted Saturday evening in the parking lot of the Dollar Tree on North DuPont Highway.

Around 7:42 PM, two male suspects reportedly approached the boy and struck him in the head and torso. Police say the boy was knocked to the ground and the suspects stole cash from him.

The boy did not suffer serious injuries and medical treatment was not needed, officials said.

Police are looking for two suspects: both are described as black males with one suspect wearing black jeans and a white hoodie and the other wearing light jeans, a white shirt and a black jacket.
