Water back on after Ocean Pines water main break

Some residents in Ocean Pines may have experienced water outages after a water main burst late Tuesday morning.

The water main break happened at the intersection of St. Martins Lane and Ocean Parkway. Officials estimate the number of homes affected to be in the dozens.

Crews from the Worcester County Water and Wastewater Division arrived on the scene shortly after the break to make repairs.

Officials report that the water was back on and running again by early afternoon.

Currently no cause for the break has been released.
