UPDATE: Surveillance Photos released in Felton robbery

Detectives have released surveillance photos of the people and car involved in a Sunday morning robbery of the Canterbury Shore Stop.

The incident happened around 2:20 AM on Sunday when a man entered the convenience store on South DuPont Highway and approached a male employee at the counter armed with an unknown type of handgun.

The suspect demanded cash and the clerk complied, turning over an unknown amount of money. Police say the suspect then fled the business north toward Irish Hill Road. The employee was uninjured in the incident.

Police say the first suspect was described as a man , 5'09"-5'10" tall, 180-185 lbs., wearing a light colored sweatshirt, blue jeans, and tan shoes (No further physical or clothing description). He was armed with an unknown type handgun.  He is observed exiting a vehicle parked in the parking lot just north of the store before conducting the robbery.

A second man went in the store just two minutes before the robbery and was seen leaving the same car that was parked in the parking lot just north of the store. He reportedly went into the business and made a purchase before returning to the car. He is seen in the surveillance photo wearing a black t-shirt, dark pants and red sneakers.

The car that the two suspect left in may be a dark colored Ford Fusion with unknown registration.
