UPDATE: Hearing held for man accused in Milford homicide

A pre-trial motions hearing was held on Thursday morning in Kent County for Abdul White, a man arrested for a Milford homicide.

Delaware Department of Justice officials say that during the hearing for White, there was a motion to suppress a specific statement and to suppress DNA.

Those motions were taken under advisement. Another motion to submit evidence was postponed until trial. White's trial is set to begin on June 6 in Kent County Superior Court.

White was arrested in September on murder charges after allegedly killing John Harmon during an August Milford home invasion. White was arrested in Philadelphia and was later extradited to the Delaware Department of Corrections where he was ordered to be held without bond.
