Two captured, one at large for Milford armed robberies

Milford Police say two people have been arrested and one suspect is still at large in relation to two armed robberies in the Milford area.

Nikkesha Scott, 20, of Harrington was arrested by Delaware State Police during a traffic stop on Saturday and Elijah Cannon, 19, of Ellendale was arrested by Milford Police on Sunday in the Riverwalk Shopping Center based on a tip to his location.

Both had been wanted for their roles in the armed robberies of Cypress Wine and Spirits and Mike's Liquor Mart that took place in November 2016 and January 2016 respectively.

A third suspect, 18-year-old Shaiheme Edwards of Bridgeville, is still wanted by police. Edwards reportedly goes by the nickname "S-Dot," and is considered by police to be armed and dangerous.

Scott is charged with two counts of first degree robbery and two counts of second degree conspiracy. Police say she has been committed at Baylor Women's Correctional Institution on a bail of $70,000 secured.

Cannon is charged with first degree robbery, multiple firearm-related charges, wearing a disguise during the commission of a felony, tampering with physical evidence and second degree conspiracy. He was been committed at the Sussex Correctional Institution on $47,000 cash bond.
