Two armed suspects reportedly rob Milford gas station

Troopers in Delaware are investigating an armed robbery Saturday at a Milford gas station.

Delaware State Police say around 9:30 PM, two men, one armed with a handgun and the other with a shotgun, entered the Valero gas station located on Bay Road.

According to reports, the suspects first tried to take money from a safe but when the clerk was unable to open the safe, the suspects demanded cash from the register.

The employee reportedly complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspects then fled in a vehicle on Cicada Lane before driving off south on Bay Road. No injuries were reported.
