Teacher found guilty on drug charges in Somerset Co.

A Crisfield High School teacher who was caught with drugs on school property has been found guilty.

According to the Somerset County State's Attorney's office, 51-year-old Bonnie Crockett of Crisfield, was found guilty of possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

She was then placed on three years of unsupervised probation by the court and ordered to perform 50 hours of community service.

She was also ordered to pay a fine of $200 dollars.

In September, Crockett was arrested after police say she was found carrying an envelope of crushed pills and a rolled up piece of paper.

Crockett resigned from her position in October, officials said.
