SU Men’s Basketball Dominates Marymount
The Salisbury University men's basketball team beat Marymount 80-60 this evening, just two days after climbing three spots in the D3hoops.com polls to #12 in the nation.
In the first half, with SU up, Braedon Dorsey got the dish off the inbound play at the top of the key and drained the bucket. SU committed a turnover, and the saints marched. Taiga walker took it to the other end for the layup and the foul. Ladarius McCord hit a three pointer, giving Marymount the lead.
But the Gulls defended the home turf. Gordan Jeter dished it to Justin Witmer who got through some traffic and made the tough jumper in the post.Then Wyatt Smith worked the ball inside, he got the bucket and the foul. Next, the Seagulls hit the road to face York on Saturday at 3pm.
