Pocomoke man charged with sexual abuse of a child stemming back nearly 8 years

The Worcester County Sheriff's Office says a man who allegedly sexually abused a minor repeatedly since 2009 is now in custody.

Joshua Tauber, 23, of Pocomoke City, was arrested after the Worcester County Bureau of Investigation started an investigation earlier this month into a sexual abuse case.

Tauber is charged with three counts of sexual abuse of a minor, four counts of second degree sex offense and four counts of third degree sex offense.

He is being held without bond at the Worcester County Jail, police said.
