Monday Memo – January 30, 2017
MONDAY MEMO
TO: ALL STAFF
FROM: KATHLEEN
DATE: 30 JANUARY 2017
SPECIAL THANKS TO BRENT!

While Brent and Bill were working on preparing the janitor’s storage area for waterproofing, Brent discovered this name tag among the debris. As some of you may already know, our building was not specifically built as a broadcasting facility. One of its several incarnations over the years was that of Read’s Drugstore, complete with a soda fountain and lunch counter. We suspect the name tag once belonged to one of the servers. Just a bit of memorabilia, FYI!
FEBRUARY SWEEPS REMINDER
• The February Sweeps period begins this Thursday. For new employees, this is your reminder that “employee(s) or any member of their households may not participate in providing viewership information to Nielsen because of the possibility of conscious or unconscious bias in the reporting of their media behavior”. We take this mandate very seriously and, should you receive any viewership reporting forms, you need to return them to Nielsen with a note explaining that, as a broadcaster, you cannot participate in their survey. In advance, thanks for your attention to this requirement.
STATION FREEBIE!
• The winner of last week’s Station Freebie of the 7-disc set of “Criminal Minds was Shawn Tedder. This week’s Station Freebie is a 24-disc box set of “The Lucy Show”. This is the complete series and contains special features in addition to the shows. Sign up for your chance to win on the bulletin board at the employee entrance. Per usual procedure, we will draw for a winner Friday morning and the announcement made in the next Monday Memo.

Lenita Wesson is already working on packages and supplemental information that our News Department will air the week leading up to the special.
