Man sentenced to 18 months after fatal 2016 Bay Bridge crash

A man accused of causing a crash on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge pleaded guilty and was sentenced in Queen Anne's County.

According to the Queen Anne's County State's Attorney, 21-year-old Tobin Dixon pleaded guilty to manslaughter by automobile. He was then sentenced to five years in the Division of Correction with the sentence suspended after 18 months of incarceration.

Dixon is accused of causing a fatal Bay Bridge crash that killed Randy Thrower in 2016.
