Man dies after Frederica crash

Police say they are investigating a single car crash that happened in December that resulted in the death of a Frederica man.
According to Delaware State Police, on December 27 around 9:04 AM, 92-year-old Glode Requa was driving a 2009 Toyota Camry eastbound on Barratts Chapel Road, east of Otter Way. When Requa tried to negotiate a left curve, he lost control and veered off the north side of the roadway, striking a dirt embankment with the front bumper. The Camry then continued eastbound striking a guardrail with the driver's side of Requa's car.
Requa who was wearing a seat belt was taken to Bayhealth Kent General Hospital where he was admitted in critical condition. He died on Wednesday.
The Delaware State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit is continuing their investigation into this incident.
