Lincoln man arrested for driving drunk in school parking lot

Milford Police say they arrested a Lincoln man on Thursday for driving while impaired in the parking lot of Lulu Ross Elementary School.

Police were alerted at around 7:25 AM to reports of someone driving a Mitsubishi Gallant suspiciously in the school's parking lot. The car reportedly hit multiple cars in the lot and nearly hit several people who tried stopping the driver.

Police learned that the alleged driver in this incident was 38-year-old Shawn Williams.

Williams was located and arrested, charged with three counts of second degree reckless endangering, endangering the welfare of a child, DUI, leaving the scene of a collision, reckless driving and failure to report a collision.

Officials say Williams' bail was set at $3,400 secured. He also has a no contact order with the victims and the school.
