Highway robbery reported on Route 113 in Worcester County
The Worcester County Bureau of Investigation says they are investigating an armed robbery and assault that happened on Sunday in Showell.
Officials say at around 11:40 PM on southbound U.S. Route 113 near Md. Route 589, a dark colored passenger vehicle stopped in front of another car, forcing the driver of the second car to pull onto the shoulder.
Three men reportedly got out of the first vehicle, walked to the victim's car and assaulted and robbed the driver at knifepoint.
The suspects are described as three black males.
