Fire Marshals seek identity of Easton Royal Farms arson suspect

Deputy State Fire Marshals are asking for public assistance in identifying a man seen in surveillance video at the scene of the Saturday arson at the Easton Royal Farms.
Officials say a fire was started at the Royal Farms around 2:48 PM on Saturday. The fire, which began in an outside trash can, soon spread to other parts of the store and caused an estimated $20,000 in damages.
Deputy State Fire Marshals say the man captured by the video intentionally started flames in the trash can. He then fled the scene in an unknown direction.
The Easton Volunteer Fire Department responded to the fire with 10 firefighters, taking 15 minutes to control it.
Officials urge anyone who can identify the man or who know any information on the blaze to call the Easton Office of Maryland State Fire Marshals at 410-822-7609 or the Maryland Joint Operations Center at 1-877-636-2872.
