Dover carjacking suspects crash stolen car in Pennsylvania

Dover Police say three teenagers who reportedly carjacked a man in Dover early Thursday morning were arrested hours later in Chester, Pa.

18-year-old Joseph Carter, 19-year-old Isaiah Harber and a 13-year-old girl were arrested by the Chester Police Department after the stolen vehicle was reportedly involved in a crash.

Dover Police say the carjacking happened around 12:50 AM in the 200 block of Simon Circle in Dover. Police say the three suspects approached the 54-year-old victim with handguns and demanded his car.

Hours later the car was involved in an accident in Chester, Pa. and the suspects fled the scene. Officials say Chester Police were able to locate the three teens and arrest them without incident.

All three suspects will be extradited back to Delaware and face charges of first degree carjacking, possession of a firearm during commission of a felony, wearing disguises during commission of a felony and second degree conspiracy.
