Dorchester County man arrested for allegedly punching woman

A Linkwood man was arrested Monday in connection to a domestic assault, the Dorchester County Sheriff's Office announced.

Christopher Mark Swann Sr., 48, was wanted for allegedly holding a woman's head between his knees while punching her repeatedly.

Police arrested Swann and charged him with first and second degree assault, reckless endangerment and false imprisonment.

He was order held without bond, officials said.
