DelDOT: Road conditions have seen great improvement

Sunday morning, DelDOT officials report road conditions have seen great improvements within the last day.
Officials tell us crews have been working around the clock to clear out the roads. They say primary roads are in good shape.
However, they have experienced some challenges along the way, this includes drifting and some roads re-icing due to the freezing temperatures.
Jim Westhoff, the spokesperson for DelDot tells us plows will be on the roads through tomorrow. They are asking folks to drive carefully if they are within proximity of them.
"Please be very careful when you are driving near a plow. Don't pass a slow plow that is working, it is a dangerous situation. We want our crews to be effective and keep everyone safe," says Westhoff.
DelDoOT crews will continue to work on the secondary routes.
