Crash involving a tractor trailer causes backup in Westover

Police say that a crash involving a tractor trailer occurred in Westover on Monday morning.

According to Maryland State Police, around 3:20 AM on Monday morning, a tractor trailer left the roadway on Route 13 and Ocean Highway and went into the woods. Police say that there were no major injuries, and no patients required transport to area hospitals.

Police also say that they are working to get the tractor trailer out of the woods. A passenger car was reportedly involved in the crash, but there were no major injuries sustained for that person.

There has been backup associated with the crash but police say that is because of heavy duty apparatus that is in the roadway.
