Council votes to close portion of North Division Street in Salisbury

Salisbury city leaders voted to close a portion of North Division Street between North Salisbury Boulevard and Decatur Avenue on Monday evening.

The vote stems from concerns over traffic and safety. Public Works claims drivers travel at unsafe speeds to avoid the traffic light at Priscilla Street.

The Maryland State Highway Administration supported the proposal.
